The existing mechanisms under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) already provide effective tools for national authorities.
Any additional verification measures would only add unnecessary costs, create delays in reporting, and increase regulatory complexity, diverting resources away from investment and innovation.
The solution lies in leveraging the existing ESPR framework to ensure compliance while keeping the regulatory burden in check.
