Home Appliance Associations Global Roundtable meets in Kyoto, Japan on 28th March 2017

Representatives of the International Roundtable of Household Appliance Manufacturing Associations (IRHMA) will come together on 28th March for their fourth annual meeting.

Representatives of the International Roundtable of Household Appliance Manufacturing Associations (IRHMA) will come together on 28th March for their fourth annual meeting.

The home appliance Association host for the meeting will be the Japanese Electrical Manufacturers' Association (JEMA).

IRHMA was established in Brussels in February 2014. It brings together representatives of home appliance associations from across the world. The table covers approximately 75% of the total worldwide sector.

IRHMA's objective is to provide an informal global forum within which the household appliance industry can discuss global challenges and issues that affects its members.

It discusses topics such as developments in global standardisation affecting appliances or the role appliances play in securing greater sustainability.
